importance of good nutrition while working out

When starting any new gym routine or simply beginning a home workout program, one of the first things one should do is establish a good nutrition routine. Eating the right types of foods and taking proper supplements and at the right times are the building blocks of good workouts, speedier recovery times and mental clarity for excellent motivation.

The first thing you should do is ask yourself this question: Is what you are eating good for you or bad? If the latter is your answer, then you need to establish better nutrition. Healthier foods give you fuel needed to burn calories in the gym or a run in the park. They also help keep you energized in between workouts to avoid snacking. You can workout till you are dead but abs are built in the kitchen.

You can consider supplements but I will caution you here. Bad supplements such as fat burners or even some pre-workout drinks can do damage to your heart, liver and kidneys and even good supplements can be abused. Use all natural supplements such as essential oils, amino acids, and a good multivitamin. These will be more than enough to power your day and keep you strong at night if you know what I mean.
